hmm pentium to i7

hi there,

I am new here, hopefully can learn a lot from the expert.
i have a set of old desktop computer with Pentium 4 processor.
Do you mind to share any accessories to upgrade into i7 processor.
your helps is much appreciated.

To upgrade to an i7 you'd need a new motherboard, new ram, and a new copy of windows for the new mobo
 
Yeah as said above, an i7 won't work with a P4 board, sorry. They are completely different sockets and thus require different boards.
 
You will need a new motherboard and new memory, as the i7 uses DDR3. Depending on how old your computer is, if you currently have an AGP video card and IDE hard drives and optical drives, you will probably need a new video card, hard drive, optical drive, and power supply.

You need a new computer.
 
Yeah you'll just need a new computer. That is so old that wouldn't be really useable except on a clean copy of XP or a lightweight Linux version.
