Hmmm, new build or upgrade?

I tried browsing around a bit to find something that may offer a bit of expansion in the future thats on a small budget.

Motherboard:
GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 (rev. 1.3) LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $99.99

The nice thing about this board is that is supports quadcore and core 2 extreme cpus, so there is some flexibility for upgrading in the future. Also comes with pcie, and multiple pci slots. AGP slots seem to be starting to die out so I wouldn't worry about trying to find a board with them in it.

CPU:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 Allendale 1.8GHz 2M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail $114.50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115013

RAM: (You'll need DDR2 RAM for the mobo)
G.SKILL 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail $56.49
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231102

Total Cost: $270.98

Of coarse with all builds, make sure you psu has the proper power pin connector (in this case it would need a 24pin). Although I hear you can use a 20pin power connector to juice a 24pin connector on the mobo, i've never tried it myself hehe.
