Am I reading 5,004.68 MHz as the core speed? How much did you overclock that beast?

You shouldnt be surprised ... you'll notice the higher overclocked systems tend to have lower memory counts and lower memory densities .... thats cuz the higher the density, the finickier the modules and the generally lower results.Surprised he doesn't have like 4gbs of ram or something, get all top of the line equipment.
