well i assume you want people's opinions on this build, so i'll start by giving mine, the socket 775 is a good choice because it supports pentium d and core 2 duo. Depending on what you're using it for you might think about getting a better processor. In addition you won't be able to play any games without a video card although you didn't say what you're going to be using the comptuer for so that may not matter. I'm not sure how well vista will run on just intigrated graphics if you plan to run the aero theme. Overall though, not bad.

this is the best ive designed, it works out to be quite cheap for what it is £1000 or $2000

1. Two 500GB HDDs would provide the same capacity at a much lower price
2. 2x1GB of RAM is quite sufficient. No need for 2x2GB - it's wasted money at this pricepoint.
3. Do you really need the sound card? It depends on what you'll be using it for, but the board will have built in sound.
4. Upgrade the CPU to a Core 2 Duo. That Pentium D will be a real bottleneck. Downgrade the video card to an 8800GTS if necessary to fit in budget.
5. Get a better PSU. That one included in the Atrix case probably won't run an 8800GTX reliably.

Woah, 1TB !?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! What the hell do you have that means you would need that much ????? Unless you are seriously addicted to downloading pornography. Good build nevertheless.
