I have my gaming rig, I installed 2 320 gb raid 0 drives. Installed windows and it's all good.

But then one day it starts locking up. I was like ok I will just install new drivers, it didn't work, so I removed all of my pci express cards, and it still locks up. Like it isn't consistent in it's "locking upness" It just does it randomly.

So I was wondering if I could find some sort of diagnostics app that will monitor my computer until it locks up. Then I can go back to the program or file and see what the problem is. So if anyone knows of anything please let me know.

If windows locks up, then the chances are that memtest would lock up as well. I don't know if memtest has a logging feature to recored the results for after it locks up or not.

You might try a program called HealthMonitor.

I have never tried it, so I am not saying it will work for what you want it for.

Or you might try what comes with windows, Dr. Watson.

To start Dr. Watson, click Start, click Run, and then type drwtsn32. To start Dr. Watson from a command prompt, change to the root directory, and then type drwtsn32.

Similar to the error monitoring Dr.Watson, you could simply check the event viewer. Right click my computer < manage < event viewer. Check both system and application logs as it could honestly be either, you'll obviously be looking for errors that occur at the same time as the lock ups.
