hooking up 3 sata devices

I have an asus p5q se plus mobo. i have 2 sata connections on my power supply which i have hooked up to my hard drive and 1 dvd burner. i want to install another dvd burner. How do i hook all 3 up. any help is appreciated

Do you have extra molex connectors on your psu? You can get a molex>SATA power converter.

yes i have an extra molex connector on the psu. what do those power converters look like

or would it be better to hook the sata hard drive using an eide cable and use the 2 sata plugs on the dvd drive

You can't hook up a SATA drive to an IDE cable unless you have an adapter also, and you don't want to do that anyway. SATA is faster at transferring data than IDE. You'd basically slow down your operating system.

I believe this is the adapter you would need in order to use your Molex to power a SATA device:
