Heya! New member here! Building my first computer. I have a few questions if you fellas and gals don't mind helping out!

I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131819

I've hooked everything up pretty well I think. I have 2 questions

1) I have a bundle of wires coming from the front of my case that says "hd audio". Where does this go on the motherboard? Does it go in the spdif slot on my mobo? ( I can supply pics if needed)

2)My gpu is a GeForce 550ti. I have what looks like a 6 pin to 2 molex 4 pins? It's an adapter I had to buy. Do both 4 pins need to have power to power the card or just 1?

Thanks!

1. The HDAudio hoes on the Audio header on your motherboard should you want to use it for the front panel headphone jack. If that doesn't fit, then you use the AC '97 plug instead.

2. Both the adapters need power for it to work correctly.

P.S. Next time spend your money on a way better case. The Antec 900 is so outdated and has horrible cable management. I can't believe Antec still makes them.

Thanks for your reply mate! Yeah I'm running into the cable management problem now lol. In regards to the audio header... What exactly does one of these look like? My case didn't come with an ac 97

Looks like it's the last header on bottom left. Can't see it too well on my phone though.

Check the manual. It'll have a board layout and show you where you're supposed to plug it in.

It's below the spdif header, it's labeled AAFP. It will only connect one way as there is a pin missing so line it up correctly before pushing down on it.
