Horrible Printing... Epson Stylus C60...

Horrible isnt it? How do I get rid of those numerous lines? I got this from my mom...

Summary:

Left for 1 year... Color + Black dried.

Replaced cartridges, color is off, and I get horrible .. things that just appear there... how I clean it up? I never got around to printer maintaince... need to learn it asap.

It flushes through ink to try to dislodge the dried ink that's causing the clog. It uses a fair bit of ink, and don't be surprised if you have to go through the process several if not a few times, to get it sorted. The printer does a small amount of head cleaning every time it starts printing (the noises you hear before it starts to feed the paper), nozzle cleaning is simply a more rigorous version of this.
