Hosting a subdiomain on different server

I have recently started my own company website, www.mechahawks.com

I have also subscribed for a reseller account to provide free web hosting.
Say, my main site is hosted at
ns1.first.com, and
ns2.first.com

I want to create a subdomain "hosting.mechahawks.com" and point it to another nameserver say,
ns1.second.com, and
ns2.second.com

I know there is a way of doing this by creating an A record or something like that but i cannot achieve it.

If there are any webmaster out there, most probably Ian, I would like for a help from them.

edit: My title is wrongly spelled. subdiomain instead of subdomain

If you have a reseller's account, you would need to create a A Record through your domain registrar to point to the IP address of the hosting provider's server. Who is your domain registrar?
