Brianmay27 i think you really need to go back to school and read some books.
If you want to build flash sites you need to know how to work with flash and make them using adobe flash, and then embed them on your site, dunno bout apache but i thinkl IIS can ,correct me if am wrong!!
i host my website locally on my lan using apache and it has flash contents (flash text and pics)on it (not that many, im zero in flash )

but if you're looking to build dynamic flash site i suggest you get some ebooks online !!
i maybe wrong but someone please correct me !!

Flash objects are embedded in html you can use any web server to host them, it's like a picture but better.
