Hi frnds,

I have a P4 3.0 Ghz with 915 GAV motherboard.80GB SATA.
The Problem is i checked the Temp for my processor zone with the software provided with the CD it showed 65~70 degree(processor) especially when i play games like GTA SA and the other zone 1 at nearly 65degree.

My machine is kept in some isolated place,pls suggest me how do i make it cooler.I have installed a chasis fan i wanted to install a side fan but my cabinet does not have any provision.I always remove side cover.

pls tell me is it still safe to run my machine at this temp.and some tricks to keep it low on temp
 
You gotta have a case fan that is powerful enough to suck all the hot air out. You gotta have openings in the front of your case at least equal to the area of your fan.
The cold air has to come in thru the front at the bottom, and get blown out the back at the top with your case fan and PSU fan. If the front of your case doesn't have openings, then cut them open like I had to.
You can't have your PC "isolated". It needs space around it.

The teperature is extremely hot. My 3.0E(Prescoot is at 27C as I type this post.

Tower should have 12 inch clearance on all sides. Clean all fans and FAN BLADES. Alcohol and Q-Tips work the best. CPU fan also.
If the top of your tower is warm to the touch, a top vent & fan will remove a lot of heat and not overly difficult to install.
Use 99 % alcohol if possible,evaporates rapidly.
A thing as simple as dirty fan blades restrict air movement by as much as 50 % or more.
