Hot laptop

HP Laptop is overheating. Any advice. All vents are clear

Hot to touch. Heat generated with 10 mins of using apps such as word. see the attached snap shot of temperatures.. About to strip down to check the fan condition internally

Looks like it is within the normal ranges.

Yeah, components can tolerate a lot higher temperatures than you can. 80ish C while generally 'high' is fairly normal for modern laptops.

The fans don't even kick on with mine until it crosses over 60C.
