Hi,
I was browing around ebuyer, and theres an offer on for a Leadtek Winfast 6800 LE.

Its only £95, and the orignal GFX card i bought (XFX 6600GT) was £92.65.

Would it be worth selling my 6600GT for the 6800 LE? How much of a differnce is there between the two?

If i was going to get the 6800 LE, how much should i sell my 6600GT for? Its only a month old and never been O/Ced.

EDIT: I think ill forget about it, it seems that the LE was designed for OEM, and its underpowered next to any other 6800's.I think ill just wait untill i pay my mum off for my computer parts (£180 to go) then upgrade to a 6800GT, or the XFX XXX 6800. Even better, a XFX 7800GT would be good!

Actually, a 6600GT can outperform a 6800LE at stock speeds. The advantage of the 6800LE is that you can unlock it. If you're lucky, you can get it close to 6800GT speeds.

they're about the same but i believe it is possible to unlock pipes on the 6800LE. i think the 6800gt starts to pull away when you start putting AF and AA on tho

Here's the guide: http://www.doomedpc.com/?q=node/37. If anyone is really interested in OCing a 6800LE, keep in mind you may need an aftermarket cooler. They also say that only about 40% of cards can unlock to 16/6, but even at 12/5 it'd be much better than a 6600GT.
