How Big Of A Supply Do I Need

help!!! I just rebuilt my pc and need to make sure my power supply is big enough. I just bough a Antec True Power 2.0 480W

I am running
4 hard drives
2 cd roms (1 dvd burner)
Nvida Gforce 6600 GT
ATA Card
Athlon 64 3500
2 GIG RAM
Windows XP
MSI Board
Audigy Gamer

Is that enough power to run optimally or should I go bigger? For a newly upgraded system it seems to run slower and I am not sure why? It even gets bogged down now when I multitask

i think that shuld be fine. i dont know how many amps it has on the +12v rail but im sure its fine.

Any idea why the system might be running slow? My old system felt like it was runnning faster and it was a Athlon 2200 with 512 ram

check your drivers, don't always run windows included drivers

The 12V side is 18A max

Its actually a bit better then that, its dual 12v rails with 18A on each.
