What majority of the screen is dedicated to the real browsing window? Also, does this size vary between different resolutions? Please give answer in pixels (thx!:P )

*Starts counting all the pixels on his screen* 1, 2, 3... :P I hope I understood what you were asking but here goes:
In maximized mode then obviously yes the majorty of the screen will be "dedicated" to the active window. However this will not be the case if the window is not maximized and also the resolution of the screen yes. If the window is full size but not maximizes the the edge of the window must be taken into account as well as the little bits of spare space on the top corners of the screen.

im guessing you mean how much of the screen is being taken up with the actual content of a webpage as opposed to the content with the toolbars and suchlike.
the size in pixel that is being take up would depend on what resolution you have your monitor set to.
the easy way to find would be to set your monitor to different resolutions and take a screen shot and select the area you're interested in using a graphics package like paintshop pro and look at the size of the selection you've made

u can with IE, f11 to make it full screen like in a power point presentation. IT works wonders if you have a 15-17in screen.
