How can i burn my DVDs

Ok i just bought a new computer and i now have a DVD burner on it the only problem is is the software that comes with it wont rip or burn the DVD.

So i need to find a program(s) that will allow me to 1)rip the copyrighted DVD onto my hard drive, 2)burn that DVD movie onto a blank DVD disk or 3) do it both at once ie. copy DVD movie directly onto blank DVD disk. And i need it to be free of charge, no 5 usage trial crap then you have to buy it, no i want a totally free program that can do this all for me.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what software i should use and where to get it?

Nero will allow you to make copys of YOUR OWN PERSONAL DVDS, LIKE HOLIDAY ONES YOU HAVE RECORDED.

what heyman421 is saying is you are breaking the forum rules because you are asking about making duplicates of copyrighted materials...

he wasn't trying to help you but rather remind you that if you keep this up you might get banned...

As everyone has said in this thread, breaking the copy-protection on DVDs is illegal and will not be discussed here.
