How can I convert a Windows TrueType font to a Mac font?

I downloaded a font for a video that I am making, but it seems it was a Windows TrueType font, but since I am a Mac user, I need to convert this to a Mac font to use it. I don't know much about fonts, but as long as it works with a Mac, I am fine.

Best regards

TrueType is supported by OSX, you should be able to use the font manager to add it.

go to fontsquirrel.com , and they have a "font face generator" tool, which is pretty awesome for webdesign, but not of much use for you. Still, part of that process will make you 4 different versions of the same font file, including otf or svg. One of those will surely work on mac.
