How can I find out what Video Card I have?

My friend had a guy build his computer and he has no idea what the video card is, and needs to find out to get the new drivers for it. It doesn't say on it either. I know there was a program that told you EVERYTHING about your computer, but I forgot what it was, anybody know what I'm talkin about?

EDIT: Also, it doesn't say in the Device Manager.

I had a similar problem with a video card on a clients computer. I found 2 different numbers on the card which appeard to be serial numbers but they weren't marked as to what they were. I also had to pull the card out of the computer and look very closely at it to find those numbers. After a few searches on the web using those number sI was able to find out which card it was. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I know, but it doesn't say on either of those. There was some program that I used to have that'd tell you EVERYTHING about your computer, but I forgot what it was.

There are probably a few different programs that run down all of your system specs but I use Everest.

For whatever reason it doesn't state the values of my video card under GPU on my computer though. However, under "menu - display - windows video" it states my GPU specs and memory amount on the video card. In addition a lot of registry cleaners will identify your graphics card.

A friend of mine uses SiSoftware Sandra but I'm not sure if it will display video card information without the driver loaded.

THANKS! I LOVE YOU! lol :P

But thanks sooooo much!!!!

Everest was the program I was thinking of!

EDIT: My friend says "THANK YOU!!!" You've helped both him and I out A LOT.
