how can i make my graphics card faster?

As far as I know, all the newer x800GTO's have been laser cut, so its impossible for the average user to reconnect the extra four pipelines.

However if you got a card that wasnt laser cut, what you would do is find the the BIOS for the x800XT, and flash your x800GTO with it, and that would unlock the extra pipes.

However this technique was mainly for the Connect3D x800GTO, and as far as I know they have begun to laser cut there extra pipes, so this wont work.

If you flash it and something goes wrong, then it may not boot up correctly, and may not show any video. I read how to undo that, but it requires the use of a PCI video card.

In ATI Tool, you can create a copy of your BIOS, which is highly recommended before you flash it. Then you may be able to restore it using a certain utility.
 
Actually, i would give it about a 2% chance of working. Since it used to be that the only x800GTO that would sucessfully unlock was the Connect3D's, with the exception of the ocassional other brand card. And then they laser cut them all, so its almost a guarentee that it wont work with the newer cards. So the most likely way would be to get an x800GTO2.
