How can I make this rig a lot better

I'm looking to upgrade my PC big time for music and gaming. And I would like to know what needs to be upgraded and the best I can do with around $300

My specs are

*AMD Phenom 9150e Quad-Core Processor @ 1.8ghz
*200 Watt power supply
*7166MB of Video RAM
*nVdia Geforce 9400GT 512mb DDR2 Video Card

If you need anymore info, please ask! :eek:

I also have a 600gb Harddrive

probably the psu and gpu would be big changes to make first and then move to a new cpu too if your budget allows, god that thing has alot of ram for the cpu and psu it has...

Too much money for an OCZ ModXStream PSU,much better units can be had for the same price(nothing wrong with OCZ units, they are better than any off brand units such as those sold under the rosewill name, but they aren't exactly high end units either) at that price point you can nearly buy a 750W unit from seventeam:

His CPU is 65W TDP. I'd imagine the 9400 GT is hardly power hungry either.

EDIT: I was wrong. Some manufacturers are calling for 350W minimum power supplies for that video card.
 
^ The 9400Gt will definitly not work on a 200watt psu, but it will a 300 watt, because of the low power usage of the proc.
 
For the CPU, an Atlon II x4 635 would be a great budget-conscious upgrade. They're only something like 10% slower than Phenom II's clock for clock, but 30% cheaper.
