How can I protect my pc from seeing other users in office thru network

Would you please advise that how can I protect my pc being viewed by others, in office, who do not need it, tru network. I think it is possible for other to see my files and activities if it is connect each other. Pleae advise how i can disable this function?

Set your locatiom as public. this makes discovery hidden.


Or simple, (i am telling u for vista, if u r using xp, it should be similar)
goto network and sharing center and set network discovery to off.
