It would be even better if I could replace it with the vista one.
 
Hmmm Ive never met anyone that would want to get rid of that... Dont know if you can, with out doing some crazy registry hunting... may i ask why you want to get rid of that.

Im sure there is some sort of vista themes that will make it look like vista as it copy's files, is this what you want?

because my hole windows is super clean and vista like and nice except that part. so I want to remove that as well. :D

windowBlind can change that file transfer dialog, but then again WB is not free and you probably won't use it just to change this... but am only suggesting

yes I knew that, But I dont want to intall any extra software just to change the xp look.
I want to remove it from the system. I could delete that animation if I knew where it is located(in which file?) using Resource Hacker.
 
Why would you want to totally remove it?

I don't under stand why anyone would want to.

Let me know i will do some research for you
 
what are using ? vista inspirat or VIsta TP from windowsX ?
cause the ones from windows X changes the animations, unless you didn't install it properly

strange though
 
Vista Inspirat from CrystalXP changes the copy images. (It's a whole conversion pack though)
