I have a dell dimension e510

http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/dell-dimension-e510-desktop/4507-3118_7-31555136.html

I am wondering what I can do to upgrade this computer so I can play some more new age games. Nothing special, just Warhammer, World of Warcraft, and some other games.

Im not sure What graphics or RAM would fit in this comp. and I am assuming that the PSU will need to be replaced in order to run the machine better.

My budget for upgrades is about $150 for now, but any parts or suggestions for future upgrades would be awesome.

And no I can not build a whole new computer right now  wish I could.

Ouch, not sure about the Vram, Im not on that computer right now. But I currently have 2gb of RAM, 4 would be cool, it's not that expensive.

as i said, do the above to find out how much, erm about the ram is it 2 sticks of 1gb or one stick of 2gb?

And about the Vram, I don't have that comp with me. That website analysis the comp you are on, im not on the one I want to upgrade. =/

The graphics card slot on the MoBo is only 1 PCI Express x16 So, I can't use some of the newer cards out there.

for $150 i would so upgrades similar to:
PSU(to support gpu or incase you ever upgrade mobo+cpu):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341012
GPU:
If you dont wanna spend more than $150 before rebates
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131132
or, this would be better as long as you want it under $150 after rebates(free rainbow six vegas 2 game)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127415
or this would be best(and just over $150 after rebates, also free rainbow six vegas 2):

Memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227420

Prices before rebates/ati 4550:$147.97
Prices after rebates/ati 4550:$127.97

Prices before rebates/ati 4670:$173.97
Prices after rebates/ati 4670:$133.97

prices before rebates/ati 4830:$197.97
prices after rebates/ati 4830:$157.97

The 4670 is roughly 3-4x faster than 4550, and the 4830 is roughly twice as fast as the 4670.

Pci express x16 slots can use a pci express x16 2.0 card, they are backward compatible.

if its a dell i dont think he can get a new psu unless he gets it from them since most of there systems are proprietary. not quite sure about other parts though.

GPU, with a better power supply(such as the 500 watt ocz) yes. That cpu, no, you would need a motherboard that is compatible with it. Video Card, Memory, and PSU are prolly your best upgrades at the moment, then later on cpu+mobo.

Well, to be honest... this psu may cost a bit more, but in the long turn as its 80plus certified(more effecient):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817702014
or just go with the power supply i linked ya to on the front page(ocz stealthxstream 500w)

For mobo, since its a dell case its prolly microatx and you could go with something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157146
or something a bit better(well, thats debatable, but this one i have used in someones rig and they have no complaints) like this:

If you have 2GB of ram, and a limited budget, I wouldn't buy more ram. That is more
than enough to play WoW, Warhammer, and Starcraft. Save the cash.

For graphics, I wouldn't spend $70 on a 9500 GT. It's only a 8.8 billion/sec fill rate. I
would look on craigslist/kijiji in your local area for a 7600 GT or 8600 GT. The 7600 GT
is 6.7 billion/sec - a little less, but you won't pay more than $30 for it.

If I was buying a card and paying full price, I wouldn't get less than the 9600 GT. It
costs about $30 more (33% more) than the 9500 GT, and it has a performance
increase of 56%. Fillrate of 20 billion/sec (instead of 8.8), and bandwidth of 57.6 GB/s
(instead of 16 GB/s). The 9500 GT you're looking at only has 128-bit memory interface
width - so it will be considerably slower than the 256-bit of 9600 GT.

And before buying anything, I suggest you open up your case and verify there is a
PCI-E 16x slot for the graphics card. I think that website says that the 16x slot is
only in the 775 socket models.
