lol well, I think my 200 dollars emachine was the best deal, ofcourse i had to get up at 5 in the morning and stand in line at best buy during day after thanks giving.

Specs

Celeron D 2.66ghz
512mb PC2700 ram
Intel Extreme Graphics 3
80gb hd w/ 2mb cache
CD+RW/DVD drive
some 8 in 1 media card reader

AND it came with monitor, keyboard, speakers, mouse. All for $200=)

With Windows? I think Emachines smoked us all, though it doesn't count for the cheapest you can build

39.46 + 115.52 = $154.98. Nope. Still beat. Taxes on the Newegg would be less than the Fry's since you don't pay tax on shipping/handling. Creamed both ways. Though still the emachines is the best deal.

Saaer45, mine has onboard video :)

Now it's $10 more expensive, to $164.98. Lets see which is the better deal. Georgia has 7% tax, so....

$170.13 for the fry's machine,
$173.77 for mine :(
Oh well.... I tried

Here, or back at the original I changed it.

What do you mean? The one without the cpu (it was in the cpu/mobo combo section) was $115.52, but the one I changed it to was $125.52. So, yea. Then you add money for shipping, though the other ones didn't include that.
