how come some videos d/l faster then others in youtube?

i use this to get the videos... http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
i heard that it wasn't the downloader, and that it was the youtube site server or something. but each video i d/l usually d/l's at a different speed than the other, but i'm d/l them from the same person. anyways, i heard that firefox can also d/l these videos. will it be any faster if i use ff?

k, so i got firefox, but when i go to the link with the video it says my javascrpit is turned off or i dont have the lastest macromedia player. i know i have the lastest mm player because the videos work fine on my ie, how do i turn on the javascript for my ff? thanks again
 
it may not be any faster if you use firefox, it depends on the speed of the server, but the reason why it is asking you to download macromedia player is because ff doesn't use the version for ie, just download it and you will be able to see flash
