How Dast is Your Internet???

Hey, how fast is your internet using this speed test: Speakeasy Internet Speed Test.

Mine is usually running around 1500 kbps (1.5Mbps), using the Los Angeles server. The upload really varies a lot, so it is usually around like 600-700, sometimes 1000kbps on a good day.

Here in West Texas on DSL, with firewall turned off, I seldom get over 600 Kbs downloading. But I'm much happier than with dial-up.

Comcast was not lying when they said they up'ed the service to 7 mbs, sometimes if i get a T1 server that im Dlin off of i can download at 1.2 mbs not the max 896.6 KB that says its my max :-\????

i think that is just what the router is capible of, 11Mbps is a 801.1b, mines a 800 whatever G and its 54Mbps
