CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W 80 PLUS.

Also ordered a 640gb WD Black HDD, not sure if i should send it back as i thought the raptor was bad or go for a raid 0 array.

also where to go from here? possibly a better mobo or a 6950?
 
you would be better off running a SSD than the Raptor.
I would defineatly suggest 1 6*** series card over Cf 4870's. The 6*** cards will outperform the 4870's even in CF.
Otherwise looks good.
 
The mobo only has one pci-ex slot which means it is the 4870x2 card which is actually still pretty good, the 6xxx series would be better but i imagine the op probab;y got it cheap cause it is last generation.

I would choose a higher end board from the likes of asus, gigabyte or possibly MSI, for the most part biostar boards aren't that great, looks good tho.
 
Thanks guys yeah could not beat the raptor came in a build I had and the motherboard was only like 30 too and it oc's quite well. Any motherboards that you would recommend I know the 790fx is quite highly rated.
