I had a 30% off deal with ebay. So basically getting that laptop for a net cost of like $160.

It seems to have good specs for a 160 bucks. I'm expecting to have to buy a new battery, but 95% of it's use will be plugged in to the car or wall anyway so maybe I'll get lucky.

I'm a cop so when the shift gets boring I'll use it to watch dvd's, surf online, and a few older games.

Also I work a few off duty security jobs where you just sit in the car outside of stores and stuff.

I was going to buy a little portable dvd player, but for 50 more I figured I might as well get a laptop that can do everything.
