How do I check history of sites used?

Hello,

I would like to check the history of internet sites used, could someone guide me through this please?

Dont ask why but lets say I would like to look at what someone has been on. I know how to get the history up but it seems they are periodically cleared (whenever i have been out which is arousing suspicion!)

I dont want comment on why but if someone could help that would be great.

Thanks.

I don't know what OS you are using nor what browser. But this is for IE and XP. Thanks to a tweak from http://www.g4tv.com/screensavers/features/506/Sarahs_Windows_Tweak_Lock_Down_IE_History.html

Open the Registry Editor.

Navigate to the following string:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

If you get to the Microsoft key folder and don't see keys for Internet Explorer\Control Panel, you'll need to add Internet Explorer as a subkey of Microsoft and Control Panel as a subkey of Internet Explorer.

Go into the Control Panel key folder and create a new DWORD value (REG_DWORD). Name it History. Right-click the History value and choose Modify. Change the data from 0 to 1.

Immediately, your "Clear History" options will become grayed out in your IE Tool menu. When you open the History menu, you'll no longer see an option to delete selected URLs by right-clicking them. If the tweak isn't working for you, close and relaunch any instance of IE you have running.

Guys, you haven't answer the question really, but we need more information.

for the OP:
What is your OS???
What browser are you wanting to do this in???

Thanks,
