That card is so old, there most likely aren't any worthwhile upgrade options... if your card happens to be AGP, your best bet might be a 3650 AGP, I've seen a few of those floating around for a "reasonable" price... however, we need to know the rest of your specs too, chances are your other components are too outdated and slow for any upgrade to make your computer useful. You'd be far better off getting yourself a new computer altogether.

What do you use the machine for anywys?

Download and run PC Wizard. It's a freeware program that will identify the motherboard, graphics bus, memory, etc. You should also open the case and get the specs off the power supply, then post back.

games

It was basically my games an music computer when i got it the guy ripped us off an put the bare minimum in it but hey i didnt know any better so yeah it has about as terrible stuff on it as it gets i know im getting a new computer for graduation but i was hoping for a bit of temporary boost for this one to keep me going till then ill download that software an post it but i was hoping to be able to play some games while also having some music space if that makes sense think ill have to replace the whole motherboard

Personally I wouldn't spend any money trying to upgrade it. You can build a computer 2 or 3 times more powerful for < $500 - $600

+1
in order to really play modern games, you need to upgrade pretty much everything. it would be worth it to just restart (except maybe the case or the network card). ALL of those are outdated (in my opinion).
