How do I convert a .jpg to a .pdf?

I tried scanning something as a .jpg and sending it to someone, but they need a .pdf to open it for some reason.

How do I do this?

It doesn't give me the option to save as a .pdf. And when I try to type it in manually, it calls it filename.pdf.doc

Yea that's what I did....

You can try this not sure it does jpegs. http://www.cometdocs.com/

Or you can install Libre office and convert it.

If they can't open JPGs then they have larger problems than you.

In addition to above, there are also print to PDF solutions where you can just attempt to 'print' the image and it dumps the output into a PDF.

Download PDF Factory, it lets you "print" anything as a PDF.
