How do I get google to find my site, yahoo is hosting a site for me and I can't find my site with google or any search engine, I am using Microsoft FrontPage.

register your site with
http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

and the spiders should come and trawl your site. Check your web logs and you'll know when they've been. But bewarned it can take for ages.
You can check if you site has been cached or not bying typing
cache:XXXXXX
(where xxxx = you full site url)
into the google search box,and press "google search"

I can't get it to work
What is the problem.
If you mean you entered your url but its not on google yet.....well i did say it can take a while. And if you read the page it says:

google said:
We add and update new sites to our index each time we crawl the web, and we invite you to submit your URL here. We do not add all submitted URLs to our index, and we cannot make any predictions or guarantees about when or if they will appear.

if you are rich, pay money to google is the best
You cannot pay to get listed in the main google search engine results, only in the paid ads section.

You don't even need to submit anymore. They will find you without submitting but I'm sure it helps. You can also type allinurl:yourdomain.com and it will show all the places where your url address is in their directory.

Wrong again :)
It will show all places from the chache whos addy match the allinurl: variable. If your site is not indexed in the first place then you wont find any results using that method either. Google searchs are only ever against there cache

Right, I didn't word that quite right, I was tired. I was basically trying to say that if he uses allinurl and nothing shows up, then it isn't in their directory yet.

I'm pretty sure that it does it automatically. When i put pictures up on photobucket, when i searched for just the title of the pictures, my photo album came up.

well thats probably because photbucket is already registered with google. I know with lycos search or something you can enter your own.
