How do I get myownsitename.com?

Registering a domain is how you get registered with a DNS server, what you do is point the domain name at where your site is. Although you probably figured this out since you just did it the other day... :)

Thanks for the links and the info. I did check them out. I had already signed up with godaddy. I wanted a .com domain because it is easier for people to remember. I don't mind the 10 bucks a year.

Now I have to find out more details about my email address with them. I thought I read somewhere that it is only a 10MB account. That's nothing. If that's the case, I'll just keep using my current email address since it is not sooo pressing that I use an address like @mydomainname.com
