I want to apply for a job, but doesn't look like there will be any vacancies for a long while instead of constantly checking the site is there a way of setting up something to let me know maybe email me if jobs come available on the site, how you do this? Is it RSS feedbacks or something?

Might help if you're a bit more specific on what site you're using.
If the site uses RSS feeds, then that would certainly be a way to do it. This service emails you updates.

usually you would register with the site, create a profile with the job types your are interested in, then there should be an option to get email updates for new jobs that fall into your categories
