I have just built a computer, I am new at this. All works fine except for the Samsung HDD.
Its internal. I have 2 of them, one HDD is my old 1TB one and this one is new; aiming to have a RAID system.
However, the new HDD does not show up on the computer as a disk, it just shows my old HDD. I am using Windows 7. If I go into Disk Management it does show up there. File system CDFS, Status healthy, Capacity 660Mb which is odd as its a 1TB disk.
If I right click on the disk to format it, it tries to do it but comes up with the message "This operation did not complete as the media is write-protected".
How do I get rid of this?
Have looked in BIOS and it doesnt have the ability to write protect a HDD. Both disks are SATA.
