How do I get this off?...My LCD

I just obtained an Widescreen LCD monitor off of Craigslist. When I got it, i noticed that there are 2 spots that always look as if they are wet..like some type of oil or something..causing a rainbow like effect..

It doesn't look like a scratch at all, it looks like a little portion is always wet.. any way to fix this?
 
Can you actually feel something on the screen or is it like behind the screen? Can you see it when the monitor is off?
 
No, I cannot actually feel the spot on the screen..when the screen is off, it just appears as if the screen was wet.. its 3 small spots..
 
It sounds like something's wrong with your screen. If you can't get it off with regular screen cleaner, its inside your monitor's screen
 
They're pressure marks where something came in contact too hard with the screen. I had a LCD monitor that had the same effect, but it was at the bottom, where the previous owner had dropped something ontop of the screen. Really no way to fix is unless you replace the screen.
