How do I install Windows Vista?

Hello,

I just built my new computer and I am having trouble installing the OS. When I turn on the computer it reads:
Reboot and Select propter Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key

I put in the CD and it gives me the same message, and when I reboot it just gives me the same message. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

On a different subject, there is a low buzz-like sound that is quite noticeable. It sounds like it's coming from the top fan but when I increase or decrease the fan power the buzzing stays constant. Can anyone tell me why this might be?

Thank you.

Go into the bios and change the boot order so that the cdrom is first, hdd second. Reboot and then it should boot to the cd.

when you start your system you will get a boot screen , at the bottom of the screen will have a message stating to press which key in order to enter bios... and this screen goes away fast...so you have to be snapy for the moment.... press the suggested key and enter into your system bios , then find where the boot menu is located and select the priority of devices as cd/dvd as 1st then the hdd... and then save the settings and exit... the system will reboot , insert the cd and continue with the instalation
