How Do I Know If My Mouse Is Messed Up?

I spilled some citrus green tea juice drink on my mouse pad, which got some on my mouse. I believe most of it got on the side, but I'm wondering if any got in the censor of the mouse, or in between the two side buttons by the thumb.


So, how would I know if it's ruined or messed up?



I have the MX518 by the way.

Hard to say really. I'd try leaving it in a really dry area, just to make sure everything is out of there.
 
if poss open her up and leave her to dry in a warm dry place then put it back togeter seems to work with countless mobile phones that have gone through the wash
 
Everything seemed fine, then I noticed the right click and the two side buttons, by my thumb were a bit sticky, so I got some Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol 70% and some Q-tips and fixed it.
