how do i make sure i install everything correctly?

im building a computer and here are my parts: evga x58 sli le, asus gtx 470, i7-930, g,skill 6gb ddr3 1600 ripsaw ram, samsung 1tb hd, sony dvd burner, ante 300 case and antec 650 ps. so after i install everything, how do i know i install everything correctly? i didnt buy an OS yet =)

You could boot up and go into BIOS. Then, just look and make sure it is all recognized.

After you have installed everything go into device manager
If anything their is marked with a yellow question mark the drivers arnt installed
