I store my pictures, both .jpg and .bmp, in a folder on my desktop. When I try to insert a picture into live mail I can see only the .jpg pictures and on an internet site I only see .bmp pictures. How can I change the drop down menu, that defaults to ALL PICTURES in live mail and ALL SUPPORTED TYPES on the internet, to default to the “all files” selection for both?

I have a lot of pictures to modify to do that, and I can do it, but it is just as easy to select “all files”.
The problem started with my brother-in-law who could not find his pictures and I don’t think he is about to do the changes. He is very intimidated by the computer. So his only hope is that he can learn, by repetition, to select the “all files”.
