How do I network my printer so other laptops can use it?

I have got a printer which is connected to the desktop at home and I would like to network it so my laptop can use it.

Share the printer.... then go into the printer & faxes on the laptop and install it as a network printer.

How to share the printer - Printer & Faxes, right-click on the printer and hit properties and use the share tab.
