How do I reduse or the network (internet) speed of one of my computers.

One of the computers at my house uses the internet. Ok. The problem is whenever I am gaming and someone is useing the other computer my ping is way up in the 300's. But I dont want to make the other person get off whenever I start to game.

The computer is wireless, I dont want to move it farther away or move it period, I think wireless G, with a linksys wireless router.

Just post some things I could do to make it get arround 20 mbps.

well what is your internet speed? bandwidth? is the other person downloading, because if they are just browsing the web, then your ping should not be too much higher than normal. btw what is your ping normally?

Im doubting you do... it may say that you have 100MBPS connection at the bottom in the System Tray, thats just the speed of your LAN port in back, not your actual internet bandwidth.

100mbps is over twice as fast as t3.
