how do i remove a process permanently?

i have a problem in windows xp where if a dont end a process the computer slows down. i am tired of ending this process every time i reboot. how do i fix this problem?
 
Go to start, run, type in msconfig, go to the startup tab and find it there and unclick it, so it doesnt startup with windows. You could also do this with othe rprograms u dont want to start but dont go crazy unclickin ish u do need to use on startup.
