Hi, how can i find out what RPM a HDD spins at?

you can google Everest Home Edition, and it will tell you.

Just Right click on My Computer
click properties
then go to Hardware tab
and click on Device Manager
the expand Disk Drives..... this is gonna show you the model of your HDD
go to the manufactures site for example www.westerndigital.com
and go to products and see the specs of your HDD
