How Do I Transfer My Old Files To A New Empty Hard Drive?

So I've recently bought a new desktop with a 2TB Hard drive. However, the computer came without an OS included as it was the cheaper option and I figured I would be able to somehow transfer my Windows 7 files from my current machine to the new one. My question is, however, how do I do that? I am currently running on Windows 7 Ultimate and would love to get that on the new computer without having to buy a new operation system to do so. Help would be great, thanks.

You will be able to copy your data files but you will need to re-install Win 7 from the install DVD. You will need to contact MS to deactivate the license on the old computer to reactivate on the new.
