How do i turn on javascript?

I have the newest flash installed, yet everywhere tells me tht i need to download it or turn javasript on. How do i do that?

1. Go to "Tools | Internet Options..." from the main menu
2. Change to the "Security" tab
3. Click "Custom Level..." button
4. To Enable: make sure a setting other than "Disable Java" is selected under "Java." If you're not sure which setting to choose, select "High safety"
5. Restart the browser
