How do I upload a pdf file?

I recently converted some files to pdf using Adobe Acrobat and want to upload them to my website for other people to access. I am using an html editor. Is anyone familiar with the procedure to do this?

If you have a website, am sure you also have a local copy of the site for uploading (via ftp). then just place the PDF file somewhere in it, create the link on your site using the editor (wrap it in a link).

Just upload the pdf file to the server and put a link to your website that points to the file. When the viewer clicks on the link, the pdf file should open on their browser, provided they have acrobat reader installed on their computer.
Example: <a href="http://www.sitename.com/filename.pdf">pdf name</a>.
If your file is on another folder, <a href="http://www.sitename.com/folder name/filename.pdf">pdf name</a>.
