ive tried safe mode its like the computer turns off as soon as the windows logo is finished loading as it makes a sort of noise when it gets passed it. how do i do a recovery from the cd, what would i need to do? like exact instructions as i have tried to get in before but i dont know what to do once im there

To do a recovery from CD, you need to go into BIOS and change the boot menu to boot from CD. After that, you can just follow the instruction on the screen.

To go into BIOS:
When you start up your computer, you should see a screen. This is called POST screen. At the bottom of the screen usually, there should be information about what button to press if you want to go to "BIOS Setup". The button is usually F2 or F8, not sure what yours would be.

To change boot sequence:
After you are in BIOS go to the tab called BOOT. Change the boot priority so that the CD-ROM Drive is at the top followed by other method. Once you have done this, select "Save & Exit" or something along those line.

Your computer should re-start by itself after saving the configuration. Make sure you have inserted the Windows CD into the CD drive before you save the configuration. Then just follow the instructions on the screen. Make sure you choose repair instead of doing a re-install.

Hope this helps. :)
and Good Luck

you insert the windows CD and boot from the cd and when the screen loads there is an option for a repair installation.

OR you could type sfc /scannow in command line
