just loaded atitool and it said "you ati card supports 2d/3d settings" etc and it says i have this disabled via ati settings, how do i enable this???
 
You don't want it enabled, you only want to overclock the 3D Performance settings, not the 2D or 3D Low settings.

It's already set to do so, and unless your on a laptop theres really no reason why you would want to make it run even slower. I dont have an X1K series so I can't say how to enable it, but look around the configuration pages on ATI Tool and see if you can find something.
