How do u tell if a motherboard is ATX or BTX???

Just doing a bit more research into the motherboards, cases and power supplies that im thinking of buying. How do i tell wot they are (ATX or BTX).

Ive read that BTX is newer and is designed for better ventilation etc. So i would want to get everything in the BTX format right??

How can u tell, im reading loads of motherboard descriptions on overclockers.co.uk and it dont say nothing about ATX and BTX
 
One major giveaway of the BTX motherboard is an angled processor socket, not found on ATX motherboard designs. Also and in the motherboard description it should say BTX.
 
i would stay away from btx and stick with an atx based sysytem.i have a dell
btx system and have power supply problems connecting a atx psu with a btx
motherboard that needs a 24 pin main power and a 20 pin power for the intel
duo core processor.i cant find a psu that does both connections.i need this
also because i upgraded to a nvidia 9800gx2 card and need a psu with 6 and 8 pin power connectors

Originally, yes, that was the case. However, the real-world application of BTX basically flopped outside of big-brand manufacturers and never caught on as mainstream. There is another form factor in the works, but for now anything-ATX is the recognized way to go.
